Quality
Departments are the basic organisational structure for scientific research, for teaching and training, as well as for the transfer of knowledge and innovation, together with related and supplementary outside activites. The Department Director and the Board are the Department governing bodies responsible for setting Quality Assurance Policy for Research and Teaching in the departments.
Each department has an operative Quality Assurance Unit (PDQ), which is the point of contact between the Department and the University Quality Unit.

Quality Assurance policies are applied with reference to the objectives listed in the official course description (SUA) drawn up by academic staff responsible for each study course (CDS).
Quality Assurance policies are applied to research and Third Mission activities according to the objectives listed in the official course description (SUA-RD).
